Counselling explores the causes of the troubled thoughts and behaviours you may experience. A skilled, experienced counsellor acts as a guide, helping you to reassess a specific life-changing or traumatic experience, or issues from your past that shape your feelings and behaviours today.
Taking the first step is the hardest.
But by identifying some of the issues which might be troubling you, you can begin to build a more secure, comfortable way of life. Some of the things I can help you to manage are:
Counselling sessions can be on a one-to-one basis, or for families, couples, children or teenagers.
Group sessions are also available, providing support and guidance with specific focus of your choice, eg domestic violence. Telephone, email counselling and face time work are also offered.
